![]() A gameplay deep dive last year showed how Rainbow Six Extraction will play out when it lands on consoles, PC, and Xbox Game Pass in a few weeks. If an exclusive game for Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S is released, it will immediately find its way into the service. As expected, performance will drop on PS4 and Xbox One, with the developers’ goal of delivering a stable 30fps experience at 1080p resolution. The Xbox Game Pass is replenished with all sorts of new games every month. And so if on PS5 and Xbox Series X Rainbow Six Extraction will move at 60fps with 4K resolution and HDR, on more bodied PCs it can instead go up to 120fps. Series veterans will no doubt find some of the playable characters familiar, but alien enemies will shake things up with different types and abilities. Rainbow Six Extraction is coming to Xbox Game Pass for release. The game launches for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S later this month, and players will team up with one-to-two friends to exterminate and survive an infectious alien race that threatens Earth. The spinoff was originally revealed with the name Rainbow Six Quarantine before Ubisoft eventually renamed the project last June. Rainbow Six Extraction is a tactical 1-3 player co-op PvE FPS where youll unite the elite operators from Rainbow Six against a deadly alien threat known as the Archaens. Game Pass or not, Rainbow Six Extraction has been a long time coming. Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate when it releases on January 20. There’s currently no word on whether the publisher plans to bring Ubisoft+ to other platforms beyond Xbox. ![]() It features access to more than 100 Ubisoft games, including major titles from the Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry franchises. Ubisoft+ has only been available on PC and cloud until now. And on top of all of this, Ubisoft has announced plans to bring its own gaming subscription service, Ubisoft+, to Xbox consoles in the future. As an added bonus, Rainbow Six Siege, which is already available to play through Game Pass on console, will be available for PC subscribers on January 20. Announced via an Xbox Wire post, the reveal marks yet another major addition to Microsoft’s game subscription service but also represents Ubisoft’s growing interest in it. Ubisoft is bringing its alien-infested co-op shooter, Rainbow Six Extraction, to Xbox Game Pass for consoles, PC, and cloud on day one at launch on January 20.
